
Misty Perry Isaacson focuses her practice on bankruptcy and insolvency matters. Ms. Perry Isaacson received her undergraduate degree in political science from California State University, Long Beach in 1993, where she graduated on the Dean’s Honor Role. Ms. Perry Isaacson received her law degree from Southwestern University School of Law in 1997, where she also graduated on the Dean’s Honor Role. While attending Law School, she served as a judicial extern for the Honorable Kathleen P. March, United States Bankruptcy Judge for the Central District of California.
Ms. Perry Isaacson was admitted to the California Bar Association in 1998. She is also admitted to practice before the United States District and Bankruptcy Courts for the Southern, Central, Eastern and Northern Districts of California and the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals and has appeared before many of the Bankruptcy Judges in each District. She has also successfully briefed and argued matters before the Bankruptcy Appellate Panel, District Court and the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals.
Ms. Perry Isaacson was formerly Staff Counsel to Amrane Cohen, Standing Chapter 13 Trustee for Riverside, San Bernardino and Orange Counties, representing him in well over 10,000 matters. Her representation also includes Trustees, debtors and creditors in Chapter 7, 11, 12, and 13 bankruptcy cases and adversary actions.
Ms. Perry Isaacson is a member of the Commercial Law and Bankruptcy Section of the Orange County Bar Association, Orange County Bankruptcy Forum and the Orange County Women Lawyer’s Association.
